Royal Caribbean's Club Royale plans to hold its 2007 invitational blackjack tournament -- with a $10,000 first prize -- aboard its newest ship, Liberty of the Seas, sailing on October 27th from Miami to the Eastern Caribbean.

Three dozen VIP players selected from among those who have gambled during the past year aboard Royal Caribbean ships are being invited -- as the cruise line's expense-paid guests -- to compete in this fourth invitational blackjack tournament.

Qualifying rounds and a buy-in round are held on the first sea day of the cruise, with the finals held on the final sea day. In addition to the top prize, the second place finisher will win $3,000 and the third place finisher $2,000.

More than two dozen cruisers who emerged victorious in Wild Winners tournaments held aboard Carnival cruise ships during 2007 will compete in Grand Final Slot and Blackjack tournaments aboard the new Carnival Freedom on a four-day cruise sailing from Miami on November 12th.

Each of the finalists, who competed in one of 21 cruises held on a variety of Carnival ships during 2007, will be sailing free on the Carnival Freedom. The Grand Final Slot Tournament will be offering $20,000 in prize money, with $10,000 in cash prize money up for grabs in the Grand Final Blackjack Tournament.

The Wild Winners tournaments have been so successful that they are being expanded in 2008, with over $200,000 in prize money and 40 free cruises waiting to be won competitors in qualifying rounds aboard Carnival ships sailing out of New York, Florida, California and Texas.
